Job Description

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

  • Prospect leads through a variety of networks and sources. This includes developing a pipeline by cultivating cold leads, managing an RFP process, and participating in marketing events
  • Negotiating, creating strategic pricing plans and managing client procurement processes
  • Take ownership in the development of new solutions that are both resourceful and adaptive. Executing new strategies in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Manage a team of 2 Marketing Outreach staff in the execution of marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and motivate Adult students to participate in our courses
  • Conduct strategic mapping of partners / influencers to our target audience
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Coordinate and support Outreach representatives in the execution of outreach campaigns, including but not limited to email, webinars, direct mail, social media, and offline events
  • Collect and report on lead generation outcomes of various marketing initiatives
  • Build and maintain the iBosses Alumni network at a regional level
  • Determine success and propose future tactics based on data and analysis
  • Research new opportunities for local ibosses staff to interface with desired audiences such as conferences and speaking opportunities
  • Contribute as a key member of cross-functional engagement teams, which are collectively responsible for lead generation and student enrollment
  • Comfortable managing the sales cycle of an opportunity and will partner with various teams to (Regional Partners, Marketing, mentors, etc…) to develop, propose and advance new business
  • Maintain CRM database and build out processes for efficient relationship management

 

 

Desired Skills And Experience

  • 5-8 years of business development manager, sales executive or a relevant experience
  • Strong customer service mindset and passionate about providing a great experience to potential clients
  • Enjoys the thrill of a sale and working in a startup environment where your successes are recognized
  • Proven experience in building client specific sales strategy including needs analysis, buyer profiling, competitive landscape and risk assessment that addresses critical business issues
  • Network within HR Executives and Learning & Development Directors community is a strong plus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrives on a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Creative, eager to try new approaches to achieve results and meet goals
